How much does a taxi fine cost in Flanders?
Free simulator based on Annex 10: estimate the immediate collection amount according to recorded offences — Chiron, driver card, transport document and equipment.
A missed trip in Chiron — what does it really cost?
In short
There is no fixed fine «per missed trip». The officer records a specific offence — often «data impossible to produce or incomplete» (€350) — and several shortcomings can add up during the same control.
Many operators ask: «how much does a Chiron fine cost?» or «what do you risk if a trip was not sent?» The answer is not a fixed amount per missed trip. In Flanders, the fine depends on the offence recorded by the officer during the control — and several offences can add up.
Use the simulator below to estimate an indicative total. For details per category, also see the complete guide to taxi fines in Flanders.

Missed Chiron trip: what amount in practice?
Chiron does not provide an automatic fine of X euros «per trip not sent». What the officer checks is whether you can produce the requested data during a control.
If a trip was not correctly registered or sent, you risk in particular:
- €350 — trip data impossible to produce or incomplete;
- €400 — if no compliant transport document can be generated;
- €300 — if data exists but is not securely stored.
During a full control, other offences can be added — driver card, equipment, vehicle documents — and the total can rise quickly.

Knowing the amounts is not enough. The risk checker indicates whether your operation presents a low, medium or high risk — with concrete checklists to reduce the risk.
